Well, with Stefan, it’s quite common in Romania, especially in my generation. 3 of my friends are called Stefan, and it’s the second name for all four of us. I go by Stefan because I don’t relate to Cristian. “Fane” is my preferred nickname, and there’s an entire story behind that, which I will save for later.
