Thank you very much for the kind words, Bence. And thank you again for the inspiration that came not just from your poems but also from our discussions.
Well, maybe this is the way --- for a happy ending...
I really enjoyed it. It has a very special style of writing, and the language is really well done. I understand that it might be difficult for many to read online, though... But you should be proud, Stefan, for creating such an inspiring and captivating tale!
Yeah, it's true... I think you've got a way with words, Stefan, but you're also too smart (in a good way). Maybe don't stress about writing too perfect and too complicated material... I'm not saying write something you don't want to, but the way you're writing in that Frater Stephanus story is a bit tricky and complicated for a typical Substack reader. So you have to think about it, too.
Enjoyed this read a lot, especially the landscapes once more really coming through with this one again. Some beautiful descriptions

Always a fan, glad to help!

Angela, thank you (and your eyes) for taking the time to read it. I am happy you enjoyed it and related to Frater Stephanus.
I am still figuring out the best way to write fiction on Substack.
My training primed me to write for magazines and books. This platform is a different game.
